Listen to your own body

The heat from the sauna effects different people in different ways. Always listen to your own body and exit the sauna immediatly if you start to feel unwell, drosey, sleepy, dizzy or faint.

It is recommended that you start small with 5-10 minutes in the sauna then exiting the sauna to cool down. You can do several rounds of this and slowly build up to 15-20 minutes in the sauna at any one time.

Medical exclusions

You must not use the sauna if you have high or low blood pressure, or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes, if you are prone to dizziness or fainting.

Please consult your doctor if you are taking any medication, suffer from any conditions that intefere with your ability to sweat, have any health concerns or if you are under medical care, have had any metal rods, pins or implants, artificial joints, silicone implants.

Everyone using the sauna must read and sign a waiver in their own name.

Cooling down

There are lots of ways to cool down between your sauna sessions, you can sit in the changing area to cool down more slowly, or exit the sauna and let the fresh air or rain help you cool down faster.

If you wish to enter the water between sessions please be aware that we cannot be responsible for you while you are in the water. Never dip alone, and always make sure you enter the water slowly, splashing yourself as you go to allow your body to allow your acclimatise.
